Envelope Progress Report

Work on Envelope is going really well. The program has been refactored and optimised to run in single and multi-threaded mode; I’m currently working on a rollback method that will allow users to recover corrupted files if the program crashes or if power is lost during encryption/decryption. Envelope will be released within the next 2 months however work will not stop. On release Envelope will have a basic user interface; I hope to improve this as time goes on and have a fully functional GUI. I’m also working on RASAT – Random Access Secure Archiving Technology; this will allow Envelope users to add encrypted files to a RASAT archive hiding the file names and extensions. RASAT will be similar to ZIP or RAR files but it will allow the user to have real time access to files within the archive with improved performance.
